B-Boys and Fly-Girls are preparing a rap song. They would like everything about their music to be in it and they draw the spectator in to discover their universe. In Brussels, we discover the boys district. In Paris, the girls examine the place they occupy in their district. They have arranged to meet in a studio to record a rap song together. SEEDS OF CLOWNS (GRAINES DE CLOWNS)
Pascal Goethals
France / documentary / 2004 / colour / 53
For over 10 years, in hospital corridors and wards, red nosed-characters have been mingling with the world of sterile white coats. Playful and happy, these timeless poets are clowns of hope. Each year, the association casts fifteen people for a demanding training course. Seeds of clowns shares with us the clowns experience, and the trials and tribulations they all go through. The documentary juggles hospital scenes of the children, their family, the medical staff and stages of the clowns training.
These smiling clowns get swept up in a frenzy, leaving behind them a joie-de-vivre, which dissipates the worries that hang around in hospitals. Children pick these clowns fruit to forget their illness. A simple and sparkling documentary to harvest copiously!

STOLEN CHILDHOOD (CERTI BAMBINI)
Andrea et Antonio Frazzi
Italia / fiction / 2003 / colour / 94' / cast Gianluca di Gennaro, Carmine Recano, Arturo Paglia, Miriam Candurro adapted of a novel by Diego De Silva
11 year-old Rosario lives with his ailing grandmother who spends her days in bed in a dark apartment in the suburbs of Naples. He spends his time with his friends between a dark bistrot and a betting parlour. They smoke, drink and steal, in imitation of the adults around them. Their childish laughter has given way to a strange and ambiguous grin, which is, above all, the reflection of their difficult life.
This fascinating film shows pitilessly how easy it is for a neglected child to fall into the net of the Napolitan Camorra.
A film about the exploitation and manipulation of children, or how the mafia can push a youngster to becoming a murderer. The story is well structured, thanks to exceptional editing and the actors are very convincing.
