A scriptwriting competition was organized this year for primary schools on the theme of rebellion and for young people aged 15 to 25 on the theme of the absurd. The scripts had to be 3 to 5 pages long and had to be written in French or in English. On Sunday, October 9th at 4pm, actors from the Thtre de limpossible will read the awarded scripts, in the presence of their authors.

We received numerous replies from all over France and from England, Canada, Finland, Greece, Holland, Japan, Lativa, Marocco, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland

As usual, it was difficult to choose the six winners but we finally decided they would be

The six winners will be present at the Festival and constitute the screenplay jury during the closing night. They will award the Script Prize for a feature length film to one of the films in competition.


Scriptwriting competition for school pupils on the theme of rebellion

We organized a scriptwriting competition in 2004-2005 for the towns primary schools on the theme of rebellion (last years Festival theme, which those classes attended at the beginning of the school year). It opened to a classes afternoon on Friday, June 20th 2005 in which each class presented its script.
The Golden Mini Graine was awarded to Sverine Murier from Mayville School for her script The Rebellion.
Other classes received the Mini Graine award.
